Our
hospitals will be happy to provide billing services for your
healthcare needs. We are participating providers in several
Health Plans. A list of Health Plans is provided at the bottom
of this page.
Financial
Assistance
As
part of our mission to be a safety net healthcare provider, we
offer financial assistance to help pay for hospital charges for
those who do not have insurance or other medical benefits. If
you desire this assistance, please contact a Customer Service
Representative at (618) 332-5215 and they will be happy to
personally assist you. Our guidelines and application are also
available on-line for your convenience. The guidelines and
application are provided at the bottom of the page.
Hospital Payment Policy

for Financial Assistance
Patients
presenting at Touchette Regional Hospital for non-emergent
hospital services and do not qualify for financial assistance
will be reviewed prior to receiving non-emergent hospital
services for any co-payment obligations or hospital required
deposits, based on the schedule below, or any payment
requirements as set forth in the Hospital Payment Policy.
Payments and deposits are required prior to receiving
non-emergent hospital service(s) or the service(s) will be
deferred until an acceptable arrangement can be made. Patients
will be advised prior to the non-emergent hospital service of
any payment obligation prior to presenting for the non-emergent
hospital service or at the time of presenting for the
non-emergent hospital service. For additional information or to

Responsibility Estimate
Our hospital is committed to
sharing with you reliable cost estimates of your healthcare
needs. Depending on your situation, we will determine an
estimate of your out of pocket expenses such as deductibles,
co-pays or any financial assistance you may be eligible for. The
information provided is not a guarantee of the final billing
charges and your related financial responsibility. Your actual
bill and responsibility may vary from the estimate based on the
medical condition, unknown circumstances or complications, final
diagnosis and recommended treatment ordered by your physician.
It is possible that you may receive services from other
healthcare professionals while you are at our hospital that will
be billed separately.
